50cc Market dominance
The 50cc Market displayed some fantastic figures. The Echo was, for the third consecutive year, the top-selling 50cc Scooter in the UK. This extends a Lexmoto reign of nine consecutive years of supplying the biggest selling 50 model in the UK since first taking the title with the Pulse Scout. 125cc Market achievements
The 125cc Market held some interesting results. In the 125cc motorcycles, the LXR, with 785 registered, stormed on to be the third biggest-selling 125 of any brand with only the Honda CB125F and CB125 Neo Cafe ahead. This made the LXR effectively the top-selling sports motorcycle of 2019! Second place fell to the Kawasaki ZX1000 (776 registered) with the nearest 125cc sportbike competition being the Yamaha YZFR125 (575 registered). In the top 25 125cc motorcycles there are a fair few different models of interest. We recognise as a brand that the Tempest, Michigan, and the introduction of the Riot will seek to address the rise of classic, cruiser and minibike sales. from the Japanese branded Chinese bikes (Honda CB125F & Yamaha YS125).
